THE SPORTS PARK HOTEL, COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA, U.S.AThe innovation of a new concept in SportsPark business development, comprising a multi-functional 200 bed economy hotel and conference facility in the setting of a multi- sport park.

NOVOTEL & IBIS, ROYAL VICTORIA DOCKS.  A new build hotel with 550 guest rooms overlooking the Royal Victoria Dock, adjacent to the ExCel Exhibition Centre, in Docklands, London. Planning permission gained in May of 2001, construction completed in December 2003. An initial appointment from Marylebone Warwick Balfour, the site was sold to Accor, and the design appointment subsequently novated to Vinci Grand Projets.

GREAT WESTERN ROYAL HOTEL, PADDINGTON.  Employed by the Costain Skanska Joint Venture to act as Contractors Architect for this extremely complex and fast-track £46m Design and Build contract to fully refurbish and renovate the original listed Brunel structure. 

NOVOTEL WEST LONDON, HAMMERSMITH.  The extension, renovation and remodelling, in two phases, of all the public areas of this conference and exhibition centre hotel. With a total contract value of £19m, this project was run by Bovis, then Accor as a Construction Management contract

HILTON LONDON OLYMPIAA refurbishment of the ‘National’ brand product up to ‘International’ brand status. Won in limited competition, the project was valued at £15m and was submitted for planning in October 1998. Subsequently the scope was reduced, never the less the proceeded, proving to be a highly complex phasing operation allowing continuous operation for Hilton through the entire contract period.

NOVOTEL LONDON TOWERBRIDGEA new build hotel with 203 guest rooms overlooking the Tower of London, a World Heritage Site. Planning permission was gained in June of 1998 after presentations to the RFAC - the property adjoins a grade I listed building. Two stage Design and Build contract, initial appointment from Accor, novated to Jarvis Construction.

HILTON HOTEL, KIEV . A 365 bedroom 5* hotel in central Kiev in the Ukraine. The scheme achieved local planning permission and associated authority approvals and was funded by the World Bank.

STOKE GARDEN FESTIVAL SITE. Project architect, responsible for the development of the leisure element of the site for the Rank Organization. Works included an eight screen multiplex cinema with 24 lanes of ten pin bowling, bars, restaurants and a snooker club in one building, one of the first free-form leisure swimming pools in the UK and a dry ski slope and chalet complex; all within 24 acres of the original Garden Festival Site.
